Registration Now Open for Christ Academy High School (CAHS) and Phoebe Academy High School (PAHS) 2017.
Phoebe Academy—High School, June 18–25, provides an opportunity for high school women to learn about the vocation of deaconess in the church from a theological perspective. Christ Academy—High School, June 18–July 1. For two weeks each summer, high- school-aged men of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod are offered the opportunity to delve deeper into their faith, enjoy the seminary experience and make friendships that will last a lifetime while attending Christ Academy—High School. Bach in Fort Wayne is an opportunity for college-aged singers (age 18–25) to sing Bach Cantata 137, “Praise to the Lord, the Almighty” for a special Sunday observance of the Presentation of the Augsburg Confession, June 25, 2017, at two Lutheran churches in Fort Wayne. Singers need not be enrolled in an academic program. The choir and soloists will be selected by audition. The choir will be directed by CTSFW Kantor Kevin Hildebrand.
Those interested in auditioning need to submit an application, a recommendation and an audio or video audition. Complete information on the submission process is found at www.ctsfw.edu/BachInFortWayne. Deadline for application is April 1.

The Kantorei of Concordia Theological Seminary (CTSFW), Fort Wayne, Indiana, will be presenting its annual Lenten Tour for congregations in Indiana, North Carolina and Tennessee, March 5–12. The Kantorei is a men’s choir of CTSFW students studying for the pastoral ministry. They represent the Seminary on two annual tours, sing for daily chapel services, seasonal Choral Vespers and other events. As part of the celebration of the 500th anniversary of the Reformation, Concordia Theological Seminary (CTSFW), Fort Wayne, will host a free screening of Martin Luther: The Idea That Changed the World. The film will be shown on Sunday, March 19, at 4:00 p.m. in Sihler Auditorium on the CTSFW campus, 6600 N.
