Christ Academy Confirmation Retreat

Theme: The 10 Commandments: Being Killed and Being Made Alive in Christ

This retreat is open to students who are currently receiving confirmation instruction from their pastor.

Do you know someone you would like to encourage toward becoming a pastor or deaconess?  One way is to tell them about the Prayerfully Consider Visit that takes place on our campus October 12–14.  During this three-day event they will have the opportunity to experience daily life at the Seminary while worshiping with the CTSFW community, attending classes, meeting with faculty, learning about financial aid options and getting to know the Fort Wayne area. Celebrate the 500th anniversary of the Reformation at CTSFW. The Rev. Dr. Matthew C. Harrison, president, The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod, will serve as preacher for a special Reformation service on October 31, at 7:30 p.m. in Kramer Chapel.  If you can’t join us on campus, the service will be live streamed at www.ctsfw.edu/Daily-Chapel and on Facebook at www.facebook.com/CTSFW.

Luther Hostel, November 1–3, under the theme “Christ for Us: Celebrating the 500th Anniversary of the Reformation.” There will be presentations by CTSFW faculty, time to attend classes with current students and worship services in Kramer Chapel. College students who are contemplating how they might serve the Church have a great option with Christ Academy/Phoebe Academy College taking place November 2–5.  This event affords attendees the opportunity to immerse themselves in the day-to-day life at CTSFW.  Days will be filled with classes led by extraordinary CTSFW faculty, worship with the CTSFW community in Kramer Chapel, plenty of time to ask questions of our Admission staff and social time with fellow attendees.  This event is free of charge and includes both housing and meals. The 18th annual Good Shepherd Institute Conference will take place at Concordia Theological Seminary (CTSFW), November 5-7. The theme for 2017 is “Singing the Faith—Past, Present and Future.”
As the Church celebrates the 500th anniversary of the Reformation, the Good Shepherd Institute conference will take this opportunity to evaluate the past 500 years as we confess the faith in the present for the sake of the future. The conference will also serve as the kickoff for our second art exhibition, featuring artwork that depicts the theme of Sola, thus reflecting the themes of the Reformation.

Advent Preaching Workshop

Prepare the Way–A Sermon Series Based Upon Meditatio, Oratio, Tentatio
