Christ Academy: Confirmation Retreat
April 9–11
Each confirmation retreat focuses on one of the six chief parts of Luther’s Small Catechism, with catechetical session plus fun evening events and two nights in the dorms. Pastors are encouraged to attend with their confirmation class.
Cost: $110 per individual (catechumen or chaperone), which includes room and board

Christ Academy: High School
June 20–July 3

Free event for prospective students still in high school, who are interested in faith, fellowship, and fun! 
Christ Academy consists of three important elements: confessional catechesis, liturgical worship, and a fun life together. This tradition of learning, worship, and fun provides an incredible two-week experience for young men and women in high school, especially for those considering a future in church work. Christ Academy is comprised of two schools, Timothy School for men and Phoebe School for women.
Whether you are interested in becoming a pastor or deaconess or are just interested in theology, Christ Academy is the event for you. Spots are limited, so check us out and join the tradition!

Organist Workshop
July 26–30
Students of all levels receive customized instruction in keyboard and pedal technique, leading congregational singing at the organ and/or piano through effective playing, hymn introductions, ideas for playing various settings of the Divine Service and daily prayer services (Matins, Vespers, etc.), repertoire ideas, and leading challenging hymns.

Christian Care and Counsel Certification

Taught by Dr. Beverly Yahnke (Executive Director for Christian Counsel at DOXOLOGY), this course provides those working with parishioners and Christian day school communities an opportunity to increase their understanding of, and to enhance their Christian response to, the emotional, familial and spiritual challenges that are common to so many entrusted to their care. 2.4 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) through Concordia Theological Seminary, Ft. Wayne will be available. A $10 fee for the CEU certificate will be due upon registration online. Register by April 30 to receive a $50 discount.
