Upcoming Music Events at CTSFW

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (CTSFW)— Much like the Lutheran church itself, Concordia Theological Seminary (CTSFW), Fort Wayne, has a rich history of music. The Seminary holds music events in Kramer Chapel throughout the year, which are open to the public for either worship, enjoyment or both. There are six opportunities coming up through the end of the year.


  • Tuesday, October 31 at 7:30 p.m. Reformation Anniversary Vespers with the Concordia Lutheran High School Chamber Choir, Seminary Kantorei and Seminary Schola Cantorum.
  • Sunday, November 5 at 4:30 p.m. Organ recital by Ken Cowan.
  • Sunday, November 5 at 7:30 p.m. All Saints’ Choral Vespers with the Concordia Lutheran High School Chamber Choir and the Seminary Schola Cantorum, singing Bach Cantata 79, “God the Lord Is Sun and Shield.”
  • Monday, November 6 at 5:00 p.m. Choral Evening Prayer with the Choristers of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and School, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
  • Monday, November 6 at 7:30 p.m. Hymn Festival with the Seminary Kantorei and organists Kantor Kevin Hildebrand and Associate Kantor Matthew Machemer.
  • Saturday, December 9 at 4:00 p.m. Advent Candlelight Evening Prayer with the choirs of CTSFW.
