UPCOMING EVENTS AT CTSFW
A SPECIAL THANK YOU…
CTSFW hosted its annual Symposia series in January, welcoming over 350 people from the U.S. and countries around the world. Many also joined us online through our Symposia livestream opportunity. It was a true joy to gather in fellowship, discussing God’s Word and worshiping together. We would like to say thank you to the many people on campus and off who helped make this annual opportunity possible. Mark your calendars and save the date for next year’s Symposia series, which will be held January 16-19, 2024.
COMING THIS MONTH…
The Spring Christ Academy Confirmation Retreat is taking place in just two weeks on February 17–19, 2023, at CTSFW. This year’s retreat will focus on Confession and Absolution, one of the six chief parts in Luther’s Small Catechism. Join us for faithful Lutheran catechesis, liturgical worship, and a fun life together! Learn more at ctsfw.edu/confirmation.
Join us online or in person Wednesday, February 22 at 10:00 a.m. for our Ash Wednesday service. Ash Wednesday service signals the start of the season of Lent. The start of Lent also coincides with the end of the second quarter classes at CTSFW. Daily Chapel will be going on break starting Monday, February 27, 2023. Classes, and therefore daily chapel, will resume two weeks later on Monday, March 13, 2023.
COMING IN EARLY MARCH…
The CTSFW Kantorei is going on tour in March! The Kantorei, an auditioned choir of CTSFW students, will be leading worship with music for the Lenten season, representing CTSFW as they travel to Indiana, Kentucky, Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee March 4–19, 2023. To learn more about tour locations or to listen to their recently released album on Spotify, visit ctsfw.edu/MusicTour23.
Our Spring 2023 Prayerfully Consider Visit is coming March 16-18, 2023! If you know someone who is thinking about becoming a pastor or deaconess, please encourage them to join us at Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, for a few days to spend time contemplating the path to seminary. To register, visit our website at ctsfw.edu/PCV or contact us at admission@ctsfw.edu.
