Event Information
In 2024, CTSFW will be celebrating the 25th anniversary of Christ Academy. What better way to celebrate our heritage than with a tour through the Lands of Luther, hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Rev. Matthew Wietfeldt. How thrilling it will be to see Wittenberg, where Luther nailed the 95 Theses to the door of the Castle Church; Erfurt, where he went to school and became a monk; the Wartburg Castle, where he lived in disguise and translated the New Testament into German; Eisleben, where Luther was born and died; and other important Reformation sites. In addition to the Luther sites, we will enjoy some of the magnificent scenery of the Rhine River Valley and visit Dresden, famous for its china and fine art, and Leipzig, where Johann Sebastian Bach is buried. We are eager to share with our fellow Christ Academy alumni, spouses, and friends of Christ Academy this wonderful journey to the place where Luther and his fellow Reformers took a stand and changed the world.
